You’ll marvel at the painstaking attention to detail and craftsmanship involved in the creation of this clothing for men, women and children, along with a line of home furnishings and gifts.7Play the diva at Giorgio Armani, 760 Madison Ave., near 65th St., a four-floor wonderland of Italian style. Check out the bikini collection, his distinctive jeans and his one-of-a-kind sportswear separates. This store carries only women’s clothing and accessories, but men can enjoy the comfy chairs and coffee table books while they wait.10Be a bride at the unforgettable Vera Wang, 991 Madison Ave., at 77th St. Wang offers gowns for every kind of bride, from simple lines to showstopper gowns, complete with layers and ruffles. Made-to-order dresses are available and try to visit during the designer’s sample sales in June and December. The story also carries ready-to-wear fashion, fragrance, eyewear, footwear, lingerie, fine papers, jewelry and home collections.11Enjoy designer thrift at the Spence-Chapin Thrift Shop, 1473 Third Ave., at 83rd St. The Thrift Shop gets its stock from the designer and high-quality castoffs of the blueblood families who send their youngsters to the Spence and Chapin Schools in Manhattan (Gwyneth Paltrow is a Spence alum). It's all for a good cause, since the proceeds are donated to charity.
